Potentially good news for me and many more

The potentially good news is that finally there might be a cure on the horizon.  From the article:

Spinal “crush” injuries often cause a loss of myelin, and so destroy the capacity of nerves to transmit signals. Previous experiments carried out by Geron in rats with damaged motor nerves suggested that oligodendrocyte progenitor cells injected into the spine can redress this, helping to restore movement.

My spinal injury was caused by swelling so like I said potentially good news is still better than no news.  Maybe by the time the FDA approves trials, crips are walking again, I’ll get my hands hooked up just in time for the PS3 to come out.
